When we launched our subscriber community, we created a welcome discount as a thank-you to everyone who signed up and confirmed their subscription. It was meant exclusively for you — our confirmed subscribers — and we're grateful to everyone who used it and left such wonderful reviews.
However, after reviewing how the code was being used, we found it had been shared beyond our subscriber community, with a significant number of uses coming from people who hadn't actually subscribed and confirmed. We've also recently dealt with a separate case of gift card misuse on the store, which has made us more vigilant about how our goodwill offers are being used.
As a result, the original code will expire at midnight on Easter Monday, 5th April — giving any confirmed subscribers who haven't yet used it one final chance to redeem it before we retire it for good.
