The AKAMI meat is about 70% of the fish,
CHUTORO around 20% and OTORO maybe 10%...
Recently I have had twice as many orders for CHUTORO than AKAMI,

When you order, you will confirmation email that says "48hr Tracked Delivery", but that does't mean it will be with you in 48hrs of order, please wait for a second email with notification of fulfilment.
If it is a single tin, the tracking is added automatically, if multiple tins, I just don't have time to type in the 16 digit tracking number for each order, I do have the tracking number though, incase something goes wrong when I have untrusted Royal Mail, so I will trawl (sorry for the pun) through receipts to find it, and see where it's at...

When I started canning my own rod & line caught Cornish Bluefin Tuna in November 2024, I had no idea it would become "the first tuna ever to be canned in the UK" according to Fishing News... I also had no idea 'tinned fish' was becoming a trend, I just set out to can my catch...

...but unfortunately it was the last fish for the 2025 season for me...
So, I am delighted to announce the 2026 UK Bluefin fishing season has started and the new 'processing room' is finished!
As my health isn't 100%, and as my ol' school mate didn't get his name picked out of the hat this year, my plan is to work with several registered 'Cornish Bluefin' vessels and buy direct from them this season, so hopefully I will have more stock throughout the summer, but sadly unlikely to be reeling them in myself...

*Why is the OTORO £50?
Well I got some advice, and as there is only around 10% of this cut on the whole fish, this must be a premium price, and while I may see fluctuations in cost of fish per kg, I have also incurred other costs rising, but I am keeping the AKAMI and CHUTORO at 2025 prices...
Also, I really need to invest some funds in my oyster boat,

As I have been focusing on the Bluefin and Sardines, I have neglected her for the past two years, hence no canned oysters or mussels, and while I would be happy to fish with her this season, my health isn't allowing that, so I must do some fairly serious maintenance before she can be hired out to others to fish her... I am hoping I can put £10 from each order of
