Yes that is right, this can is just 'air' but not just any air, it is genuine Proper Cornish Harbour Air, canned at source in Mylor Yacht Harbour, Falmouth Cornwall, literally a few metres from the waters edge...

Why are we selling empty cans? Well, during our manufacturing of canned shellfish, we have to carry out seam assessments as part of our HACCP, therefore we make a considerable number of empty cans when making adjustments to the seaming machine, and we hate waste, so by purchasing these you are helping us reduce our overheads...

Why £5? well we have estimated that it still costs us about £2.30 just to produce the empty can, excluding the staff costs...

ALLERGENS

Our inaugural product range of: mussels, oysters & scallops are obviously MOLLUSCS, which is an ALLERGEN !

In addition some dressings may contain ingredients that also contain ALLERGENS !!

PLEASE DO NOT CONSUME IF ALLERGIC !!!

But you 'can' always order for someone else...
