When I started canning my own rod & line caught Cornish Bluefin Tuna in November 2024, I had no idea it would become the first tuna to be canned in the UK ever... I also had no idea 'tinned fish' was becoming a trend, I just set out to can my catch...

Some of you have waited since October 2025 for this, some more recent, I have waited too, the last Cornish Bluefin in Cornish Butter sold out in 12hrs, thanks to

but it was the last fish for the 2025 season for me...

I am delighted to announce the 2026 UK Bluefin fishing season has started and the new 'processing room' should be ready for the first Cornish Bluefin of 2026, arriving early next week...

So, this product is NOT available on the website, it is an exclusive offer to you, the subscribers who have waited so patiently, it will say 'out of stock' and I don't usually accept orders if I do not have the ingredients, and I must dispatch 'out of stock' within 30 days to comply with Shopify fulfilment, I expect it is likely to be less than 14 days from receiving the first Cornish Bluefin of 2026 next week.

There will be a new 2026 Cornish Bluefin #TinnedFish range on the website in the coming weeks, it may include variations to specific tuna cuts, such as CHUTORO and OTORO, rather than just TORO, and maybe some extra special cuts, and maybe some price changes, but for you subscribers, when the first fish is in, this offer is just for you, therefore I am reasonable confident I can produce enough for these pre-orders...

When will you get your tin, or tins? Orders are numbered sequentially, they will be dispatched sequentially, if your order contains other tins that are in stock, I may send these separately first, because Shopify says I must, and you are only receiving this message because I am 99% ready and 100% confident the first Bluefin will be delivered in the next few days, but I will never promise about fishing... 

A full refund will be issued if I cannot dispatch 
within the 30 days, that I can promise!

As my health isn't 100%, and as my ol' school mate didn't get his name picked out of the hat this year, my plan is to work with several registered Cornish Bluefin vessels this season, so hopefully I will have more stock throughout the summer...
